We won!!

Oh, that’s excellent. It’s a weird figure of speech, isn’t it? “We won!” when you weren’t actually playing. When we watch Star Wars, we don’t say, we defeated the Empire. (Leonard Hoftstadter, The Cornhusker Vortex)

WE WON THE PREMIERSHIP!

Heart almost bursting. I can’t even cheer and scream for the game because I was too tonsilitised.

SO happy that we won, yet so sad that the footy season is over. Aaaaah.

Iranian nuclear program hit by AC/DC virus

LOL!

My headline will be: “Iranian nuclear program thunderstruck at losing to AC/DC’s power”.

Nananana nananaNA THUNDER! Nananana nananaNA THUNDER!

Excuse me while I go to this corner to practice my air guitar and do the Angus Young.

redteams:

Hell Yeah, Thunderstruck!

Hacker News:

A scientist working at the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran said computer systems have been hit by a cyber-attack which forced them to play AC/DC’s Thunderstruck at full volume in the middle of the night.

The attack came to light after a researcher at security firm F-Secure received a string of emails from a Iran’s atomic energy organisation.”I am writing you to inform you that our nuclear program has once again been compromised and attacked by a new worm with exploits which have shut down our automation network at Natanz and another facility Fordo near Qom.”

The Times of Israel:

Finnish cyber-security expert says Iranian nuclear scientist emailed him to report heavy metal song blasted in the middle of the night at Natanz and Fordo

The attack caused computers at the Natanz and Fordo nuclear plants to blast the metal anthem “Thunderstruck” by arena rock gods AC/DC at full volume in the middle of the night, the emails said. It also reportedly shut down “part of the automation network,” said Mikko Hypponen, a Finnish computer security expert who has advised governments on cyber-security.

Boomberg

Iran’s nuclear facilities have suffered a cyber attack that shut down computers and played music from the rock band AC/DC, the F-Secure Security Labs website said.

The virus also prompted several of the computers on site to play the song “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC at full volume in the middle of the night, according to the e-mail, part of which is published in English on the website.

Top pic is of an NRL (Rugby, for those of you not here in Australia) player. Now, I’m not a fan of his club or even him, but I am a fan of how his name matches him to the T.

This cheerful, healthy, rosy cheek looking man’s name is Dale Cherry-Evans. I’m pretty sure he was a super cute toddler! Now imagine this super cute toddler with cherry cheeks and strawberry curls ramming into a full grown man. Makes me laugh everytime!

The second picture is of Cameron Smith, the captain of my NRL team (Melbourne Storm) AND the captain of my Origin team (Maroons). He is delicious. Very. Yum.

I’m gonna go and take a cold shower now.
